Jamaican sprint king Usain Bolt gets a personalised Nissan GT- R covered in Gold.
The six- time Olympic champion has been a brand ambassador, promoting the company’s Global Brands Campaign since April 2012.
His new car has a personalised plate number that reads, ‘MR BOLT.’ Hope it runs like the real Mr. Bolt.
Bolt’s season has had a slow start due to a hamstring injury which forced him out of the Jamaica’s International Invitational event. He has confirmed that he would be running the 100m at the Cayman Invitational later this year.
He will also be competing among the 29 Olympic medalists, 12 world champions and 4 world record holders that have enrolled, so far, for the Sainsbury Anniversary Games, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, 26-28 of July.
Bolt’s compatriots Yohan Blake and Asafa Powell have both suffered injury coming into 2013 sprint season. Blake who was due to compete at the forth- coming Doha 2013 Diamond League meeting recently pulled out as a result of the injury he sustained while competing at a meeting in Jamaica.
