Garba Umar and SuntaiActing governor of Taraba state, Alhaji Garba Umar, has warned those printing or circulating stickers and calendars wishing him success in the 2015 elections to desist forthwith.

Alhaji Umar said he had not mandated anybody to print stickers or calendars on his behalf, a statement by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr Kefas Sule, said.

However, the statement said anybody who wished to print and circulate any sticker or calendar must obtain permission from the acting governor through his Special Assistant on political matters.

Information Nigeria gathered that the acting governor was disturbed by the development, which was described by Mr. Sule as a calculated attempt to smear the good relationship between Alhaji Umar and the governor of the state, Danbaba Suntai, who is currently recuperating at the Sea View Hospital, Rehabilitation Centre and Home, New York.
