b3bec8b5a94690ba9ed391d69202745aFollowing Major Hamza Al-Mustapha’s discharge and acquittal yesterday by the Court of Appeal in Lagos which dismissed the death sentence passed on him by Justice Mojisola Dada of the Lagos High Court, the former Chief Security Officer to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha made the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) his first port of call.

Receiving Al-Mustapha at the Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos headquarters of the SCOAN, Senior Pastor, Prophet T.B Joshua, said his relationship with the ex-convict has come a long way which explains the former CSO’s courtesy visit to him.

He was quoted as saying, “I got to know him (Al-Mustapha) many years ago when a petition was addressed to General Bamaiyi who was the then Chairman of the NDLEA. As you know, several efforts had been made by my detractors to bring me and my ministry down. One of those efforts was that petition. I was arrested for investigation and it was later discovered that it was a tissue of lies. I spent nine days with them for investigation and they found the whole thing to be a fabrication. From there, I was taken to Aso Rock (Seat of Power) to see the president; it was there that I met Mustapha.”

According to T.B Joshua, he told Al-Mustapha then, who did not believe his words, that he would be arrested and put behind bars for several years but would regain his freedom eventually, which came to pass yesterday; hence the visit.

“That is why you see him coming here as his first port of call. Where there is no vision, people perish” Prophet Joshua enthused.

  3. HELLO my fellow brothers am an Igbo man with a passion for NIGERIA so much that I never for once though of a division of our beloved country .Almustafa please be strong for we the new generations of NIGERIAN youths.I am writing from a strange land because of what our selfish and shallow minded leaders have made us to be. While I was in Nigeria when your trials where being held I never really pay attention to it up to the OPUTA PANEL national reconciliation. I had the privileged to see it on YOUTUBE outside the shores of my beloved rotten country filled with vampires not only at the top but also in the private industries both multinational and our indigenous companies for the fact that internet technology outside Nigeria is so accessible that I get information any time I wanted it, that once the power supply in Nigeria goes off you have to start waiting for the news to be broadcasted again or to be doctored before rebroadcasted. ALMUSTAFA YOU ARE A BRAVE SON OF NIGERIA ,IF ALL WHAT YOU SAID AT THE OPUTA PANEL IS WHAT YOU REALLY DID AND SAW,PLEASE ACCEPT ME TO BE YOUR FOLLOWER .
