Director of Finance & Administration – Leading Global Consumer Products Company

Job Description

An established multi-billion dollar global leader in the successful innovation, production and distribution of health and beauty products is looking for a Director of Finance & Administration to assist in managing and directing their operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

Primary responsibilities:
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; and oversee all financial, project/program, and accounting.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors; assess any changes necessary.
Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Country Manager; Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual.
Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the Country Manager;
Further develop human resources and administration, enhancing professional development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, training, and recruiting.
Work closely and transparently with all external partners.
Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations
Oversee all customer support and marketing efforts.
Oversee Supply Chain logistics, including government regulations, customs and importation of products.

Desired Skills & Experience

Education Requirements:
Accounting, Business Administration or Finance
Master in Finances & Administration – a nice to have

Personal Competencies Required:
Values (Integrity, honesty, can do, will do attitude)

Experience and Competencies:
At least 8 years of similar experience.
