Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs Ibim Semenitari, speaking in Port Harcourt said the administration of Governor Amaechi had at no time imposed a nine-month curfew on Okrika.
“For us in Rivers State, the wife of the President is a Rivers woman.  It’s a thing of pride that a Rivers woman is the wife of the President. I have read the statement credited to her. It is important to know she is calling for peace. This shows clearly that some persons were acting without her consent. That is what her statement connotes.”

  • If you know patience, you will not be surprised with her utterances? She has prided herself more than what she is. Look at this: 1. she said Amaechi is her son! How old is patience, to bore Amaechi? Are they all with Jang saying Amaechi is a school boy? If you follow Patience since her assumption of her first ladyship, you will know that she is a bundle of lies. No truth can come out of her lips. if she can deceive league of Bishops of her zone, who else can she not deceived? I beg the lies will soon come to open and who ever lies will be exposed. Ride on madam patience, your days are numbered.
