Chelsea FC pounced on BNI Indonesia All-Stars, scoring eight goals and conceding one in the final match of their Asia Tour.
Both halves witnessed four goals apiece before Tomas Kalas gifted the home team a consolatory goal, diverting Greg Nwokolo’s shot across the face of goal into his own net.
Eden Hazard (penalty), Ramires (Ramires), Demba Ba, John Terry, Bertrand Traore and Romelu Lukaku (brace) were the goal scorers for the Jose Mourinho side.
The Portuguese manager selected a 4-3-3 formation with Dutch midfielder Marko van Ginkel starting upfront and Nathaniel Chalobah deployed to the midfield after featuring in the defense in previous games.
Ba started at centre-forward with Victor Moses on the right wing and Hazard on the left.
Mourinho made seven changes at the interval but stuck to his attacking formation.
After captain Terry was pulled down in the penalty area, Belgium international Hazard drove the spot-kick past keeper Meiga to open scoring for the Blues.
A couple of missed chances by the west-Londoners passed by, before Ramires increased the tally from a Ryan Bertrand knock-down, spinning a shot from 12 yards into the All-Stars’ goal.
The second goal opened the floodgates for a the rest as Ba was in the right place to strike the ball home two minutes later, after another Ramires shot was parried.
Terry’s header from a Gary Cahill deflected free-kick left scores at 4-0 before half-time.
But the Blues would soon continue from where they left as Moses’ replacement, Bertrand, struck a sumptuous strike into the top corner, 5 minutes into the second-half.
90 seconds later Lukaku nodded the sixth goal from close range, Ramires added the seventh from a Lukaku assist, before assister turned goal scorer, capitalising on a poorly planned offside trap to add one more than Arsenal’s previous score in Indonesia.
Chelsea will return back home for a few days of rest before the tour of the United States kicks off.
