Jigawa Golden Stars technical adviser Rolandson Odeh said his side have reposed their best confidence on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Organising and Disciplinary Committee’s decision in their bid to return to the Glo Premier League at the end of the 2012/13 Nigeria National League (NNL).

NFF Organising and Disciplinary Committee will deliberate on complaints over match irregularities both in the Glo Premier League and the NNL at a sitting on Tuesday.

And the Golden Stars believe the outcome of the committee’s sitting will uphold their complaints against Kogi United for fielding two ineligible players
.
The Dutse-based club ranks fifth on the NNL Division A log on 38 points with two matches against Niger Tornadoes at home and away game at Adamawa FC to round off the season.

Coach Odeh disclosed to supersport.com that he believes the expected three points deduction by the board will land his side in contention for promotion to the Glo Premier league.

“We are banking on a favourable decision from the O & D tomorrow (Tuesday) in our petition against Kogi United to inch closer to promotion to the Premier League.

“We’re fifth on the log on 38 points and three boardroom points will take our points to 41,” the former Rivers Angels and Super Falcons coach told supersport.com. “I’ve two matches to end the season, a game at home against Niger Tornadoes which is a sure three points and away game to Adamawa United.

“That game at Adamawa looks more like a problem one for us but we believe it’s a winnable game and that’ll take our total points to 47.

“That will be sure promotion to the Premier League as none of our challengers except Giwa FC guaranteed a ticket already will amass any points close to 47.

“However I don’t see the promotion race as a do-or-die affair, if the boardroom points doesn’t come we’ll still finish as fourth best won’t be a bad one.

“I signed a two-year contract with the side, first to stabilise the side and secondly to win title so if I achieved the dream in the first year that will be beautiful.

After the O & D Committee decision on Tuesday, it will clear the way for the two remaining matches to be played simultaneously.
