Lukman Haruna scored a thunderous effort in Dynamo Kiev’s 2-0 win against Sevastopol at the Valeri Lobanovsky Stadium in the Ukrainian Premier League on Sunday.

The classy finish, which was Dynamo’s opener, came in the 14th minute. Haruna’s French teammate, Bennoit Tremoulinas, provided the pass from the right which found the 22-year-old midfielder in open space.

He unleashed a right-footed shot to the top left hand corner of the visitors’ goal from 35 yards.

The second goal came through Congolese striker Diumerci Mbokani in the 50th minute as Dynamo cruised to a comfortable victory.

Fellow Nigerian, Brown Ideye- making his first appearance- was a second-half substitute in Sunday’s encounter, which was Dynamo’s third league game of the new season.

Haruna, who came through the ranks of the national team has scored once in seven appearances for the Super Eagles.
