Britain’s Laura Robson has crashed out of Wimbledon after she was defeated by Estonian Kaia Kanepi.

The19-year-old, who was bidding to become the first British woman to reach the quarter finals in 30 years, went down 7-6 7-5 in the fourth round.

Robson lost the first-set tie-break having been 5-2 ahead and was broken at 5-5 in the second.

Kanepi will face Serena Williams’ conqueror Sabine Lisicki on Tuesday.
