Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa scored his fourth goal of the Russian Premier League season for CSKA Moscow in a 2-1 defeat of Tom’ Tomsk on Saturday.
Musa, who has been firing on all cylinders, scored the match winner in the 58th minute to help CSKA climb to the summit of the Russian League on Matchday 6.
The winger reacted smartly to shoot home a predatory finish, four yards from goal after Tom’ Tomsk goalkeeper, Petr Vasek kept out Georgi Milanov’s powerful effort from a tight angle towards the onrushing Nigerian.
The goal propelled the 20-year-old to third position in the league’s top scorers’ chart.
Musa has capped 31 times for the Nigeria and scored five times.
