Ifeanyi-UbaThe Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd., Mr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has won the primaries conducted by the Labour Party (LP) to fly the party’s flag at the Anambra gubernatoral election fixed for the 16th of November, 2013.

The event which took place at Emmaus House, Awka, the Anambra State capital yesterday, saw Ubah emerge through affirmation being the only participant in the primary.

LP national chairman, Mr. Dan Nwanyanwu, who was also the returning officer during the poll monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and officers of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party from Abuja, said all the 1,137 accredited party delegates raised their hands to adopt Ubah when he was presented before them.

Declaring Mr. Ubah the winner of the primary, Mr. Nwanyanwu challenged other political parties to learn from the LP which he said is the only party devoid of internal acrimony and divisions.
