Anambra Guber Polls, APC’s First Real Test, Says Okorocha

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has declared that All Progressives Congress (APC) would win all the states in the South East geo-political zone, with the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election as testing ground.

Mr. Okorocha spoke yesterday shortly after a meeting of the leaders of APC at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja.

“Anambra is the first test facing the APC and we will do everything we can to capture it,” he said.

This is just as the governor revealed that the party’s National Vice Chairman South East, Senator Annie Okonkwo, has withdrawn from the Anambra governorship race but will also work for Senator Chris Ngige, who is favourite to clinch the party’s ticket to contest the election on November 16.
