Sergeant Chris Omeleze, the policeman who was caught on tape demanding bribe from a motorist in Lagos and subsequently dismissed by the Force after the video of his misdeeds went viral on the internet, is allegedly an impostor too.
The disgraced policeman, it was revealed, has been impersonating his classmate, Chris Omeleze, for over 21 years.
According to a Channels Television report, Osugwor Festus is purportedly the ex-policeman’s real name and not Chris Omeleze.
Festus got employed into the Police Force in 1992 allegedly with Chris Omeleze’s certificates and details which he used undetected for the past 21 years until he was dismissed on Tuesday.
It was learnt that Festus, who is from Umuseti in Nduka West LGA of Delta state, was classmates with the real Chris Omeleze.
They attended Ndemili Grammar school and finished in 1987.
