Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi has completed a season-long loan move to Stoke City after passing his medical at the Britannia Stadium in the early hours of Tuesday.

The Morocco international, who signed for the Merseyside club from Heereveen in August 2012 made only 12 appearances for the Reds.
He becomes Mark Hughes’ fourth signing of the summer after Eric Pieters (PSV Eindhoven), Marc Muniesa (Barcelona) and Juan Agudelo who will join the club from New England Revolution on 1 January 2014.
“He is an exciting player who has great pace and is very direct,” Hughes said.
“He will certainly add another dimension to what we already have at the club.”
Assaidi is in line to be handed his Stokes debut in Wednesday night’s Capital One Cup second-round tie with Walsall at the Britannia Stadium.
