ALHAJI GARBA UMAR (L) & GOV. DANBABA SUNTAI BEFORE THE CRASH

Acting governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Garba Umar yesterday expressed happiness at the return of Governor Danbaba Suntai.

Umar, who had been acting governor since last year when Suntai sustained serious injuries in a plane crash and had to be flown abroad for medical treatment, made this known while speaking to reporters in his office in Jalingo.

He appreciated the large turnout that greeted the return of Suntai to Taraba on Sunday and urged people of the state to “sustain the unity and cooperation”.

“I am very happy for the successful homecoming of my boss, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Danbaba Suntai.

“I appreciate the unity, cooperation and the way everyone turned out. I want to urge Taraba people to sustain this unity and cooperation”, he said.
