CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa believes his Russian side can spring up surprises against the reigning European Champions Bayern Munich as both sides clash at the Allianz Arena in a Matchday 1 fixture on Tuesday.
Musa, who has scored five goals for CSKA this season, provided an intelligent assist for the match-winner in Saturdays 1-0 victory over Hansa Rostov in the Russian Premier League.
CSKA Moscow currently sits at the top of the Russian League with 20 points from 8 matches.
The Nigeria international said the Russian champions would aim to stun arguably the best side in Europe this season.
“We have not made any special plans for Bayern Munich. Playing against Bayern is a privilege because they are a big club but after the game, we will see who the big side really is,” the 20-year-old told supersport.com.
“They have very good players who are dangerous so we have to concentrate from the beginning to the end.
“However, I trust my teammates and I am sure we will win this game.”
