Eminent Nigerians honour Ifeanyi Ubah at 42

NOTABLE Nigerians from different walks of life Tuesday thronged the hometown of the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, to mark his 42nd birthday.

Speaking at the event in Otolo-Nnewi,  Ubah, who is the Chairman, Capital Oil and Gas Limited, reassured the people of the state of his commitment to upgrade their living condition, saying “it takes determination and strong leadership to deliver the true dividends of democracy to the people.”

Ubah, who presented his manifesto to his well-wishers, said it signified the “blueprint” of the state’s development, which according to him, “is a necessary thing to do if the indigenes of the state are to experience improvement in their lifestyles.”

The Chairman, Ifeanyi Ubah Campaign Organisation and Okosisi of Nnewi, Chief Dan Ulasi, said “Ubah is an enigma in the true sense of the word, because he cannot be predicted as he seems to come up with new innovations all the time.”

“Ubah is a visionary leader with a great deal of foresight, no wonder he has succeeded so much in the business world. The success he made in Lagos is more complicated that the affairs of running a state. I have no doubt he has more than what it takes to take the state out of the mud,” he said.
