Enyeama, Nwofor, 21 Others for Malawi Game as NFF Finally Approves List.

Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has listed 23 players for the decisive 2014 World Cup qualifying match against Malawi in Calabar.

The 23-man list for next week’s tie was eventually approved by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical and Development (T&D) Committee on Friday.

“We have accepted the list of 23 players and they will resume camping for the match in Calabar as from Monday,” Chairman of the T&D Committee, Barrister Chris Green, said.

Lille Metropole goalkeeper and stand-in Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama topped the list which also has Austin Ejide, Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Ogenyi Onazi, Emmanuelle Emenike and Godfrey Obaobona.

CSKA Moscow forward, Ahmed Musa, Uche Nwofor, who joined SC Heerenveen on a season-long loan on Friday, was also called up.

Malawi, who has earned 7 points, trails Nigeria who are on nine points and will have to avoid defeat to qualify for the playoff round of the 2014 World Cup qualifying series.

The Flames of Malawi are expected to arrive in Nigeria from Accra on Thursday.
