HELP! Tired of Seeking a Perfect Man for Marriage – Woman in her Mid-Thirties

The average age of Nigerians when they marry the first time is getting closer to mid-twenties.

black-woman-thinking-300x224Nevertheless the global trend is that people are getting married later in life, as they focus on education, career, and fear that married life may stop them from achieving their goals.

A vivid example is one of the most developed countries in the world – the United States of America. The median age of those married for the first time is currently 28.3 for men and 25.8 for women. Just compare this to the numbers from 1960, when the median age was 23 for men and 20 for women.

Unfortunately, in some cases a person has almost no time to decide. This is especially important for ladies, whose age is no longer on their side, and finding a husband becomes essential.

Read one of such stories below and advice:

“I am 35 years old and even though seeing other peoples wedding brings joy to my heart, I have gotten to that stage in life where I know now for sure this will never happen for me.

I have been hoping for many years, and it’s not that I don’t have suitors, I am far from unattractive, but I just can’t find that guy. No one is perfect I know this, but there are certain things I am looking for in a life partner I haven’t found yet.

I am tired of hoping, praying, and wishing. I have come to accept this more than likely won’t happen for me, I see a lot of single girls are going through the same struggle, and it seems hopeless. I want to be married, to a man I love, a man with whom I can grow with.”
