Gov. Mukhtar Yero of Kaduna State on Thursday said members of the “new PDP” would soon realise their folly and return back to fold.
Yero stated this in Kaduna when former administrator of Development Areas in the state paid him a courtesy visit.
He said there were set rules of addressing the grievances of party members and assured that the PDP in the state would not waiver in giving every member the right to be heard.
The governor reminded “aggrieved members of the party to realise that it was only God, who bestow leadership and take it away at any time”.
“I encourage them to keep faith in God, Who is the only giver of position.”
Yero assured the formers administrators of the state government’s commitment to work with them to ensure development at the grassroots.
The Chairman of the forum, Alhaji Umar Baba had earlier said that the visit was to pledge their support and loyalty to the leadership of the PDP under Dr Bamanga Tukur.
He commended the governor’s leadership style and effort at ensuring that peace was sustained in the state.
Baba urged Yero to consider members of the forum in government appointment within and outside the state. (NAN)
