Olisa_MetuhChief Olisa Metuh, the newly re-elected National Publicity Secretary of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, got down to business on Monday when he revealed that high level consultations are ongoing to resolve the issues that arose in the aftermath of the factionalization of the party during its Special National convention on Saturday.

Mr. Metuh, who was re-elected to his position as spokesperson for the ruling party at the weekend, made this known while addressing newsmen shortly after the maiden meeting of the new members of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the PDP in Abuja.

According to Metuh, the leadership of the party and all other stakeholders will meet on Tuesday and ‘find a solution to the problem’.

“Consultations on what happened on Saturday and all issues therein are ongoing at the highest level of the party in this country. We are going to take the decisions and the reasons behind the decision after tomorrow’s meeting,” he said.
