West Bromwich Albion sign Olympique Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano as Stoke City confirmed the arrival of Werder Bremen forward Marko Arnautovic just after midnight.
An undisclosed fee has been paid to the German club, with Arnautovic signing a four-year deal at the Britannia Stadium.
Frenchman, Amalfitano has signed a season-long loan with West Brom with a view to a permanent deal.
A statement on Marseille website said: Olymique de Marseille announce the loan with a surprise option for a permanent transfer for Morgan Amalfitano to English club West Bromwich Albion.”
The Austria winger, Arnautovic played under Steve McClaren at Dutch Side FC Twente and however failed to impress Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan before moving to the Bundesliga.
He also could not integrate himself into the first-team squad on arrival at Werder Bremen which paved way for his exit from the Bundesliga.
