Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike believes the coach Stephen Keshi-led team has to remain committed to finishing off 2014 World Cup qualification job.
Nigeria has been seeded 4th ahead of Monday’s third round Fifa World Cup Draw African zone at the Caf headquarter, Cairo, Egypt.
And Emenike, speaking after Nigeria’s 4-1 victory over Burkina Faso at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, said:
“As African champions and it is expected that we will qualify for the World Cup in Brazil. I am certain that we can achieve this goal. All we just have to do is to go there and fight the way we fought at the Nations Cup in South Africa.
“If we play the way we played in South Africa, I am sure that we will get to Brazil. But one thing that you be sure of is that we will do whatever we have to do to book our ticket to the tournament.”
Nigeria will be drawn in Pot 1 and could face any of the teams in Pot 2- which has the likes of Egypt, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Senegal and Ethiopia.
The playoff round of the CAF qualifiers begins in October and ends November.
