Enugu Rangers Name John Obuh Technical Adviser.

Enugu Rangers have appointed former Kwara United, Sharks and Niger Tornadoes coach, John Obuh, as their new technical adviser.

The former Nigeria youth team (U-17 & U-20) coach, who has been tasked with the responsibility of overturning the Enugu-based club’s fortune, replaces Okey Emordi- who stepped down from the position after the club’s final day victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in the out-gone Glo Premier League season.

“It is an honour for me to be saddled with the task of leading Rangers back to trophy-winning side it used to be. It’s a big challenge, which I hope to carry out successfully,” the 53-year-old vowed at his presentation.

Rangers finished fifth in the Glo Premier League last season and failed to reach the Group stage of the CAF Champions League the same season, losing out in the second round.

Their journey in the CAF Confederations Cup was however cut shot by the continent’s football governing body for fielding an ineligible player.
