Red Transport & Logistics (Red) is a Project Logistics & Vessel Agency company, focusing on the Oil & Gas and Mining Industries in West-Africa.

Job description

Guides the operational units Freight Forwarding (Air,
Sea, Projects and Logistics) and Ships Agency in all operational disciplines and
ensures (within the functional scope) operational excellence, high productivity
and customer satisfaction.

 

 

Tasks:

 

  • Management of Port Harcourt staff under his responsibility
  • Define, optimize and implement country standard operational processes in cooperation with General Manager
  • Monitor performance on operational excellence and initiate corretive measures
  • Assure operational excellence within his area of responsibility
  • Assure appropriate staffing and training in conjunction with HR
  • Assure the correct and full use of operation enabling applications
  • Share information using sales-support tools.
  • Collect, fosters and implements specific industry know how and diagnose client’s needs
  • Assures and provides timely responses to customer generated RFI, RFQ, RFP and tender processes where S&M will take the lead and Ops will provide procedures and buying templates..
  • Develops, builds rapport and nurtures long term partnerships with clients, translating our capabilities to customer value.
  • Organizes and participates in regular reviews with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable business relationship.
  • Establishes guidelines and standards and conduct implementation processes, customer SOP’s, reporting frequency, formats and design KPI’s for new accounts in collaboration with operations.
  • Ensures that pricing and services offered to all relevant accounts are in line with “best in class” available.
  • Regular reporting, as agreed, to management
  • Tasks as assigned by management
