All Set for Delta to Host the 2013 NFF AGM.

The Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Nigeria Football Federation comes up on Thursday, 28th November, in Warri.

The Delta State Football Association says arrangement towards ensuring a successful hosting of the 2013 edition have been put in place.

According to a press statement by the Secretary General of the Delta FA, Friday Onothoja, delegates, which includes state football association chairmen and secretaries from the 36 states, including the FCT Abuja, are expected to arrive in Warri on Wednesday, 27th.

As part of the AGA programme, there will be charity cup match at the Warri City Stadium between reigning Glo Premier League champions, Kano Pillars FC, and Enyimba FC, winners of the 2013 Federation Cup.

Also, a gala night will hold at the Brownhill Event Centre, venue of the AGA, where the state Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, is expected to bag a sports award.

Deputy Governor, Prof. Amos Utuama, will declare the AGA open early in the day. The Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei and members, House Committee on Sports will also be in attendance.

The Delta FA has expressed appreciation to the Delta state government for graciously accepting to host the biggest congregation of football stakeholders in the country.
