Former Edo Guber Aspirant Flown Abroad For Medical Treatment

Former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Mr. Kenneth Imansuangbon, who was, Thursday, involved in a ghastly auto crash has been flown to London for medical treatment.

Imansuangbon’s car had a head-on collision with a truck belonging to Dangote Cement on Thursday, and was taken to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) for medical attention before the doctors advised he be flown abroad.

The Edo PDP chieftain was airlifted at about 4:55pm from the Benin airport by Flying Doctors Nigeria in an air ambulance marked N827SA.

Present at the airport were Imansuangbon’s family members, friends and PDP chieftains in Edo led by its chairman, Chief Dan Orbih.

Speaking to journalists at the airport, Chief Orbih said he was confident that Imansuangbon will soon return back to the country hail and hearty.

He said his confidence was raised due to the kind of treatment given to Imansuangbon at the UBTH, and the arrangement the medical personnel there made to see he that he was flown abroad, which he described as “perfect.”
