Jonathan Receives Letters Of Credence From New Envoys

President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday in Abuja received the Letters of Credence from the new United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr James Entwistle.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the President also received the new Namibian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr Peingeonjabi Shipo.

The President urged the diplomatic representatives to do their best to further strengthen the existing cordial relations between Nigeria and their respective countries.

He assured them of the fullest support of the Federal Government in broadening areas of bilateral collaboration between Nigeria and their countries during their tenure.

NAN reports that the President also received Mr Collins Chabane, Special Envoy of President Jacob Zuma of South Africa.

The President assured Chabane that Nigeria will continue to welcome investors from South Africa and other African countries to promote intra-African trade and economic relations. (NAN)
