Student Staples Scrotum After Losing Bet

We can’t believe we have to say this, but apparently it needs to be said: Gentlemen of the Internet, do not staple your scrotum. And for the love of Pete, don’t film it. No one needs to see that.

Leeds University student Nathan Bell and a pal, Saber Dasilva, had a bet riding on a video game. When Bell lost, he paid up by having his scrotum stapled, The Tab in the United Kingdom reported.

The painful stunt was captured on video, which has since been taken down.

This might make you yearn for the days when college hijinks were relegated to streaking or defacing another school’s mascot.

The incident unfolds thusly: Bell (also spelled Bells by a few outlets) realizes it’s time to honor the wager and tells his friends not to get pushy. He then pulls out his genitals and pinches a piece of his scrotum. We then see a hand with a transparent plastic stapler approach and clamp on with a click. A blood-curdling scream follows and Bell seems to yell for someone to take the staple out.

“It brought a tear to my eye,” Bell told British tabloid Metro.
