OSOGBO – Two young men, 20 and 23-years-old, faced the Osogbo Magistrate’s court for allegedly raping a teenaged girl in Ikirun, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.

policeThe 15-year-old girl, identified only as ‘Pepeye,’ was assaulted by Azeez Kehinde, 20, and Adeyanju Ismaila, 23, at about midnight, at Igbo-Ile area of Ikirun.

Both accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The presiding magistrate lamented the fact that young men were involved in criminal activities, adding the state prisons were already full of rapists.

The suspects were granted bail, while the case has been adjourned till 6th of December, 2013
