Canada 2014: Falconets Thrash Tunisia 4-0 to Reach Final Qualifying Round.

Nigeria’s Falconet are through to the final round of the qualifiers for the Fifa Women’s U-20 World Cup scheduled for Canada in 2014.

The Nigeria women’s team beat Tunisia 4-0 at the Stade Municipal de Nabeaul to complete an 8-0 aggregate win amidst heavy downpour on Sunday.

Captain Patience Okaeme netted a brace while Wilfried Eyebhoria and Uchechi Sunday added one goal each for the Coach Peter Dedevbo-led ladies.

Unlike in the first encounter a fortnight ago, the coach was satisfied with the girls’ performance, adding the margin of the victory would have been wide; were it not for the rain.

“We would have scored more goals if not for the rain,” Dedevbo told MTNFootball.com. That is not to say that the Tunisians were not good but my girls were better.”
