Fani-Kayode Blasts Jonathan Over Reply To Obasanjo’s Letter, READ What He Said

An associate of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the reply of President Goodluck Jonathan to Obasanjo’s letter as shallow.

Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, stated this during a telephone interview with a national daily last night while reacting to Jonathan’s response to Obasanjo’s letter.

He said, “It is inadequate, shallow; it is inconsequential and it lacks merits.

If he ( President Jonathan)  is waiting for an apology from former President Obasanjo for raising fundamental questions about his administration, our nation and the welfare of our nation, he would wait forever.”

All efforts made to get Obasanjo’s reaction through his chief of staff, Deacon Victor Durodola, were fruitless as many calls  and several text messages sent to his phone were unanswered at about 12:30am.

  1. With all due respect mr fani-kayode, at this point it very obvious that you have clearly taken side….as a Barrister and a human right activist, you should be a mediator and not over-heating the polity with statments that are uncalled for.

  2. Could anyone speak to OBJ when he was a serving president and escape his cruel bullet? Everyone is taking Jonathan’s simplicity for cowardise. I pray God will reward him for his(Gej) humility.

  3. I am always disappointed with Femi Fani Kayode’s contribution towards National issue, cos he lacks the moral entity to make a meaningful comment- contribution towards the development of Our Great Nation Nigeria.
He is only interested in his dream ( political appointment) from APC Government. He is a serial thief.

  4. Fani Kayode, I wish som1 culd just help u & put an end to ur misery. Am sure OBj himself is even by now disgusted wit ur attacks on his behalf. U r even embarassin him, cos ppl wuld take him less seriously knowin u r one of his supporters. So pls do him & urself a favour & shut ur loose mouth! Let ppl wit better points speak up for him if dere’s nid 4 dat

  5. How i wish Femi Fani-Kayode can read all these responses. Its unfortunate if a suppose lawyer can assert that GEJ response to ‘baba’ letter is It is inadequate, shallow; it is inconsequential and it lacks merits. We all know you Mr. Fani-Kayode and see how shallow minded you are.

  6. The Response, should have contain if not all or most of the Major Issues raised in the Controversial Letter. The action of the President indicates non acceptance of the Issues raised but going by what is happening in the Country, most of the Issues are true. Not Responding could mean Acceptance.

  8. I think the problem here is lack of understanding of simple English. What’s the comment made by Femi that aggravated these lunatic responses? I think u guys need to read Femi statement again that it’s not the best for Jonathan to demand for an apology from an ex-president who raised a cogent point that has to do wt the wellness of his administration and the entire ppl of Nigeria. What’s wrong in that statement? Do u now expect Obasanjo to apologize to Jonathan over the first letter? God forbid. Please those raining insults on Femi should take a copy of his reaction to their English teacher for proper interpretations b4 making further comments

  9. I’m Happy with all ur positive
Comment,OBJ and Fani are enemy of the state, I’m just happy with GEJ govt, its xmas and no 1 is sleeping in fuel station to get fuel, thx sweet 9ja ppl

  10. Goodluck hadd replied well and with all humility.. Indeed he’s a good leader.. Enemies may not allow him to fulfill purpose. If not for what’s happening we should be enjoying a good and peaceful govenancce. Well anybody can say anything just because of their political ambition, reply or no reply should be a matter of choice from obj, and also the reply from GEJ requires reply..

  11. naturally, the Yoruba’s can talk and also make a good contributions to National peace and the well being of Nigeria. be it politically, socially, economically, cultural and to mention but a few. likewise, some young have their mouth running like a polythene bag, diarrhea and a water fall like formal aviation minister and baba. lol…..

  12. well, it’s no use learning to be left handed at old age. it is the same way Fani Kayode opens his mouth wide as aviation minister. it is clear that uttering thoughtless statements is his trade mark. i have reasons to doubt his education and social states. i will support him with prayers that God intervenes in his pitiable state!

  13. It’s unfortunate that bad people like Fabian kayode have no moral justification to critized GEJ cz he only depends on nation resources to satisfy their personal gain. Their realignment forces won’t will not deter GEJ contribution toward this nation. He doesn’t have constructive criticism rather he talk more of a commentator with no sense.

  14. OBJ and all those who wake up to say all sort of nonsence in his support should go to hell. Jonathan’s reply has put him to shame. He is an elder statesman who tells lies and specialises in formenting trouble. Let him prove his allegations against Jonathan’s govt.

  15. Smh at Nigerian journalist. You mean there is nowhere to search for news that you kept ringing and texting FFK to the extent he was ignoring you?
