Warri, Delta State — Godwin k. Bebenimibo (rtd.) the Traditional Ruler of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM, DSP, the Ogeh-Gbaraun III, Pere of Gbaramatu, passed away.

Chief Alfred Bubor, the Fiyewei of Gbaramatu, disclosed the news at a press conference at Oporoza, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

 

“This is to inform the good people of Gbaramatu Kingdom and the general public of the demise of HRM, DSP Godwin Bebenimobo (rtd.), the Ogeh-Gbaraun III, Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom,” he said.

“Condolence registers have been opened in the palace of the traditional ruler at the traditional headquarters of the kingdom, Oporoza town, and the headquarters of Warri South West LGA Ogbe-Ijoh.

“Consequently, the appointment of Chief Patani T. Heavens as Regent of the kingdom has been approved by the traditional councils of Chiefs.”
