Multichoice Set to Beam Eagles’ Home and Away Matches to Nigerian Viewers.

Cable network provider, Multichoice Nigeria, says it has partnered with the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to provide coverage of all Super Eagles matches and Federation Cup to Nigerians.

Felix Awogu, General Manager, Strategy, Supersport in West Africa, disclosed at a press briefing in Lagos that an agreement with the football federation have been reached to develop local football content.

“We are pleased to inform you that Supersport and Multichoice have signed an agreement with NFF to cover all Super Eagles matches both home and away as well as the Federation Cup. We believe the championship is the foundation of Nigerian football and this partnership will surely see to the development of Nigerian football.

“Remember that it is through the coverage of local matches by Superport that the likes of Sunday Mba was discovered for national team,” Awogu said.

Meanwhile, Multichoice has launched a promo, tagged ‘Let’s Go to Samba’ designed to take 60 of its subscribers to the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

Speaking at the launch of the promo, General Manager, Marketing and Sales, Martin Mabutho, revealed the promo, which was originally meant for the festive season, will be extended will be extended far beyond the yuletide season in celebration of Multichoice Nigeria’s 20th year of uninterrupted quality entertainment.
