N1.2bn Fuel Subsidy Fraud: Trial Of Tukur’s Son, Others Adjourned To February 2014

The trial of Mahmud Tukur, son of the National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur, has been slated for February 24th 2014.

Mr. Tukur is charged alongside Alex Ochonogor, Abdullahi Alao, and Eterna Oil Ltd over their alleged involvement in fuel subsidy fraud amounting to N1.2 billion.

The suspects had been arraigned last year before Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo but he was transferred out of the court’s Criminal Division.
