Two late goals by Moroccan champions Raja Casablanca earned them a 3-1 win over Atletico Mineiro on Wednesday and a place in the final against Bayern Munich.
Mushssine Lajour opened scoring for the host nation’s club team early in the second-half, firing a shot past Victor in goal for the South Americans.
Former World Footballer of the Year curled a trademark free-kick in off the post to level for Mineiro.
Raja regained the lead in the 83rd minute when Rever was adjudged to have tripped Lajour only for Mohaine Moutaouali to convert from the penalty spot. Vivien Mabide completed scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage-time.
Despite losing the encounter, former AC Milan and Barcelona star took centre-stage after 90 minutes as Raja fans asked for his shirt and took off his boots.
The Moroccans now face European champions Bayern in Saturday’s final in Marrakesh.
