As the Federal Government’s plan to mark the centenary anniversary of Nigeria’s amalgamation reaches top gear, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu has called on Nigerians to support the Transformation Agenda of the Goodluck Jonathan administration and look forward to the future with “renewed determination, hope and expectations”.

Wogu made this known in Abuja yesterday while receiving the Nigeria Centenary Celebration Lapel Pin from the National Coordinator of the project, Mr. Chuks Chilaka in his office.

“I urge Nigerians to whom this celebration means more to rally round and support the Transformation Agenda of Mr. President”, the minister said.

He added: “Centenary celebration will not be complete without reference to the contributions of labour leaders.

“Hundred years in the life of any nation is worthy of celebration and for Nigeria we are happy that we have attained such an enviable stage”, Worgu said.
