15 Killed As Suicide Bomber Strikes Afghan Market

15 civilians have been killed in a suicide bombing at a market in northern Afghanistan, officials say.

The attack in Faryab province on Tuesday, wounded dozens more, governor Mohammadullah Patash said.

The attacker was approaching a checkpoint at the entry of the market in Maimana, the provincial capital, when he detonated his explosives, the AP news agency reported.
