Probably the most famous president of all time, United States president Barack Obama made a guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ The Ellen Show , and she made sure to remind him she broke his Twitter record.
“I don’t know if you know this but I was aiming to break your record of retweets and I apologize for doing it, but I broke your retweet record,” she said.
Obama joked that Ellen’s selfie was a “cheap stunt,” pointing out that she surrounded herself with celebrities and fed them pizza.
Currently, Ellen’s tweet has 3,403,467 retweets while Obama’s onetime record tweet has 780,330.
