Police Arrests Newly Married Bride For Stealing Wedding Ring

Such is the case of a newly married  22-year-old woman, Victoria Isoh, who police detectives in Obiaruku,  Ukwani Local Government Area of Delta State are on her trail for  allegedly stealing a wedding ring belonging to her friend, at whose  wedding she served as maid of honour.

According to police report, Victoria, whose traditional marriage rites  were performed in Obiaruku recently, stole the ring during a visit to her friend in Lagos after having told her how much she loved the ring.

It was revealed that during one of her visits to her friend’s residence  in Lagos, Victoria stole the ring from her dressing mirror while she was having a bath, after which she hurriedly left for Obiaruku in the  company of her
friend who saw her off to the motor park.

Spokesman of the police command in Delta state, DSP Celestina Kalu,  while confirming the incident said Victoria’s friend had reported to the police that she didn’t find her wedding ring when she returned from  seeing her visitor off.
“The said Victoria and the owner of the wedding rings have been friends  and during her marriage, Victoria was said to be the chief bridesmaid, a situation she used to gain cordial relationship,” Kalu said.
