Wire-line Intervention Supervisor at SEPLAT Petroleum Devevelopment Company Plc

Seplat Petroleum Development Company Limited, formed by two Nigerian E & P companies viz; Shebah E & P and Platform Petroleum, was registered in 2009 as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the acquisition of 45% Interest in Oil Mining Licenses 4, 38 and 41.
The transfer of assets by International operators (Shell/Total/Agip) to an indigenous Nigerian company has been hailed around the world as a landmark initiative that has given added fillip to and redefined Local Capacity Development in the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Industry. It is the first time a Nigerian Independent company will acquire a major stake from an International Oil Company, complete with a smooth transfer of Operatorship.

Job description
To effectively manage Well intervention operations on-site with due consideration to SEPLAT HSSE System/policies. Plan, execute and report all well Intervention activities (Slick line, Electric Line, Coiled Tubing, Treatment stimulation, XT and WH Maintenance, Completion, Work Over, etc) in accordance with SEPLAT operating standards and statutory legislation.

Skills and Experience
The candidate should be a Graduate Engineer, with a sound Completion & Well Intervention particularly C & WI/ Well Engineering fields, with at least 7 years relevant experience in the E&P industry.

The job holder must be a well services professional who has gained the requisite expertise through continuous training, and wide operational experience on offshore installations, logistics, simultaneous operations, coupled with a significant knowledge / experience of Completion related equipment’s, geology, reservoir and production, cost control and follow-up, environmental safety, risk assessment, certifications and a strong knowledge of the Group Policies.
