Mrs. Francisca Ejidike, 42, a staff nurse from Orakwu in Anambra State, who was delivered of a set of quadruplets (two boys and two girls), has launched a passionate appeal for financial assistance from the government and good-hearted Nigerians.

According to Mrs. Ejidike, she got married to her husband, Mr. Joseph Ejidike five years ago, adding that at the time of their marriage, he already had four children – a boy and three girls – from his late wife.

She said: “I require financial assistance because it is difficult to take care of one baby, let alone four. I urge the government and well-meaning people to assist me”.

Mrs. Ejidike expressed gratitude to the hospital workers, led by the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Paul Ezeonu, for showering her and the babies with love and care.

The matron of the post-natal ward, Mrs. Veronica Chima, thanked God for the safe delivery of the babies, noting that they were the first quadruplets to be delivered in the hospital.
