The Ivory Coast champions advanced at the expense of the Glo Premier League side courtesy of a 3-0 aggregate score-line, following their 2-0 win in San Pedro last Sunday.

Christian Kouame’s late strike silenced the misfiring ‘Restoration Boys’, the last Nigerian side in continental championship.

The loss completes a disappointing week for coach Richard Bubagha’s side, following their banishment from the Sapele Township Stadium by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for crowd violence on the domestic stage.
