Corruption: Kure Defends Ex-Govs At Confab

Confab-DelegatesImmediate past governor of Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abdulkadir Kure, has risen in defence of his colleagues, who delegates, at the ongoing National Conference demanded should be thrown in jail for corruption as well as leaving their states largely undeveloped.

Kure, who prayed for the delegates to become governors one day, said when they get to occupy such positions, they would get a clearer picture of governance.

According to him, “We should remove hatred, greed and contempt for one another from our heart”.

Kure, who is a delegate at the conference, however, agreed on the need to diversify the economy.
