Nigeria’s under-20 men’s football team will again battle Tanzania in the second round of the 2015 African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifiers next month.
Tanzania eliminated Kenya 4-3 via penalties, after both East African neighbours played out a stalemate over two legs.
The Flying Eagles will be hoping to capitalise on having to play away from home in the first leg in the weekend of May 9-11, before welcoming their opponents a fortnight later.
Nigeria and Tanzania were pitted against each other in the qualifying tournament for the 2013 edition of the championship in 2012.
Nigeria secured a 2-1 win in Tanzania and sealed a 2-0 win in the return leg in Ilorin.
The overall winners of the two-legged tie face the winners of another second round fixture between winners of Swaziland and Lesotho versus Angola, another team drawn bye for the second round.
