Job Title: Sales Executive

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • To gather and prepare clientele database for planning and identifying clients needs.
  • To prepare visit work plan for clients for optimum utilization of time and resources.
  • To visit, service and build relations to clients (TA, CLP, Govt etc) to maintain loyalty and optimize revenue.
  • To achieve set sales targets in line with budget for profitability of the airline.
  • To prepare, close sales contracts and deals to key accounts to generate maximum revenue.
  • To promote KQ products and services to create awareness and generate sales and revenue.
  • To gather market intelligence to identity threats and opportunities so as to maintain a competitive edge arid generate sales.
  • To prepare sales report for management information and performance evaluation and monitoring.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Graduate or ‘O’/A’ level with 4 years sales experience
  • Airline experience an added advantage
  • Setting and negotiation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driving licenses
  • Analytical influencing skills

Job Title: Sales and Ticketing Supervisor
Location:
 Abuja
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

    • To lead, guide and support sates and ticketing team to ensure quality service to clients.
    • To validate and reconcile daily sales returns to account for bot monies collected and documents
    • Handle and effect ticket endorsements to enhance customer relations and satisfaction
    • To handle customer complaints (denied boarding, baggage etc) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
    • To prepare and administer the shift/leave roster for optimal utilization of staff and resources
    • To uphold safety and security standards for the office to safeguard company resources.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience 

  • ‘O’ or ‘A’ level of education
  • IATA/UFTAA Diploma/intermediate to advance airline fares and ticketing course
  • 3 years airline experience in sale and ticketing

Job Title: Sales and Ticketing Agent
Location: 
Abuja
Key Accountability/Responsibilities

  • To do Reservations and ticketing for all KQ clients to generate sales
  • Fare quotes to all KQ clients to provide the best applicable fares and generate sales
  • To recruit and handle existing arid prospective frequent fliers to win and retain loyalty
  • Printing and reconciling of safes returns to account for daily sales.
  • To promote all KQ products to create awareness and generate sales
  • To promote direct telephone sales so as to reduce distribution costs arid generate sales

  • ‘O’ level Division III
  • IATA/UFTAA diploma/basic airline fares and ticketing

Job Title: Station Manager
Location: 
Abuja
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • As Accountable Manager, ensure the continuous implementation of tire station management system and maintain at all times safety and security in the station. Ensure communication of these standards to all station staff, Ground Handling staff and all other service providers and adherence at all time.
  • Ensure that the Load Control procedures and loading supervision responsibilities are correctly undertaken as per company and also document the station process flow
  • Ensure that customer service is delivered to a high standard that meets our customer needs arid expectation
  • Manage station costs in line with tire budget and implement all cost saving initiatives as determined and communicated
  • Support and develop a high performance team capable of achieving results by meeting the set benchmarks with minimum supervision.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and ensure conformity with all regulatory requirements, organization standards and local procedures.
  • Represent Kenya Airways at AOC meetings to address airport facilitation issues.
  • Promote company image to enhance public relations, visibility in the market and customer loyalty
  • Interpret and monitor safety standards, regulations and security awareness
  • As the accountable manager, ensure corrective action is taken based on audit findings and/or risk assessment analysis
  • Where necessary, file flight plan to comply with legal and company requirements to ensure aircraft operations safety
  • Ensure and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with company procedures and regulatory authorities
  • Prepare monthly reports on Ground Handling activity.
  • Manage and be responsible for the implementation of the Local Emergency Accident Procedures plan

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
University graduate or hospitality diploma with minimum 10 years experience in all round airport handling with at least 5years in supervisory role.

Job Title: Sales Manager

Detailed Description

  • To drive the sates plan for Abuja to deliver the budgeted objectives
  • To monitor and recommend pricing levels in Abuja to maximize yield and revenue
  • To identify new sales opportunities and take steps to implement them for new revenue streams.
  • Develop and service trade partners to maximise loyalty revenue generation.
  • To be the principal administrator for Kenya Airways in Abuja while safeguarding KQ interest

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • University graduate in a relevant area of study
  • Minimum of 5 years airline experience in sales and marketing of which 2 must be at senior sales level
  • Computer literate with valid driving license
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team Strong analytical skills
  • Good negotiator and ability to influence
  • Proficiency in a foreign language will be an added advantage
