Job Title: Learning and Development Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

•Facilitate values sessions for new employees and refreshers for existing employees.
•Assess participants after training delivery, and issue certificates to successful participants.
•Recommend and present training solutions and interventions that meet business objectives and maximize benefits to business and employees.
•Maintain detailed training database, with electronic records of all courses completed by Staff, with attendance, grades, final report, and so forth.
•Provide weekly and monthly reports on trainings conducted and results to the Assistant Manager, L & D.
•Continually evaluate the effectiveness of training by developing and implementing post-instruction evaluation such as focus group sessions and classroom observations.
•Conduct needs analysis which articulate the current state and end state, and gap to which the intervention is targeted.
•Plan and prepare APMT Fundamentals instructor-led training with standard lesson materials.
•Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
•Deliver APMT Fundamentals instructor-led training courses and other soft skills courses depending on business needs.
•Partner and consult with IT/HR/Fin/Commercial departments on L & D related matters to ensure that their training needs are met in line with identified gaps.
•Register all upcoming training courses with ITF for approval two weeks before commencement of training.
•Any other assigned duties.

Who we are looking for
•University Degree in Communications, Social Sciences, or related field.
•Requires at least two years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in ports and terminal operation.
•Requires some previous experience that demonstrates an ability to train others and give instructions.
•Should possess Communication, Presentation and People skills.
•Requires the ability to communicate both in English & Pidgin English.
•Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Tools.
