Nigerians in Europe: Ujah, Mba, Owoeri on Target

Anthony Ujah’s second-half equaliser was sufficient for Bundelsiga B leaders FC Cologne to force relegation battlers FC Ingolstadt 04 to a 1-1 draw at the Audi Sportpark on Friday.

Cologne failed to stamp their feet on the proceedings at the blast of the whistle and conceded shortly after the half-hour mark through a Moritz Hofmann strike from close range.

The Nigeria international’s superb solo effort in the 61st minute restored parity for the visiting Rhinelanders, who are rest assured of a place in the German top flight next season.
