Giggs and United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will travel to the Netherlands for talks, as the club moves to finalise their new management team.

Club legend, Giggs, succeeded ousted David Moyes and helped United finish off last season with two wins, a draw and loss from the last four matches.

The Welshman had said he was unsure whether he would carry on playing next season.

A number of the coaching staff, who assisted both Moyes and Giggs are likely to leave the club.
