Arsenal confirms Laurent Koscielby has signed a new long-term deal to remain at the Emirate Stadium.
The Frenchman, who joined the ‘Gunners’ in 2010 from Ligue 1 outfit Lorient, has become a key figure in the club’s defence, forming a formidable partnership with Germany international Per Mertesacker in the central defence this season.
“Laurent has proven himself to be an outstanding player since joining us in 2010 and has showed his quality once again this season. I am delighted he has decided to commit his future to the Club,” Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said.
He has racked up 163 appearances for the fourth-placed Premier League side and has helped the side to 15 clean sheets in 31 league appearances this season.
